Editorial Policy and How We Review
Effective date: 9 October 2026 · Last updated: 9 October 2026
Our standard: every fact on Dr. Melaxin Guide comes from a source we checked, and every opinion is labeled as ours. If we can’t verify something, we say so.
How we research
- We check company details from business registries and the brand’s own store pages.
- We read full ingredient (INCI) lists and compare claims with published research and dermatologist commentary.
- We collect ratings from several retailers and note the date we checked them.
- We read user discussions on Reddit and other forums to find common problems.
How we test products
- We buy products from named sources and photograph the box, seal and batch code.
- We test for at least 4 weeks with dated photos in the same lighting.
- We record the tester’s skin type and climate.

How we rate
Ratings weigh results, ingredients, value, texture, safety and how honestly the product is marketed. A product can rate well even when its viral claims are overstated.
Corrections and updates
We re-check prices, ratings and store terms regularly. If you spot an error, tell us. We fix confirmed errors promptly and update the “last verified” date.
