Our content is for information only. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Always talk to a doctor or board-certified dermatologist about skin conditions such as melasma, acne, rosacea or eczema.
Patch test and stop if irritated
- Patch-test new products, especially exfoliants and spicule products, for 48 hours.
- Stop using a product if you get burning, swelling, rash or lasting redness, and seek medical advice if it doesn’t settle.
- Ask a doctor before using new active ingredients if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or under treatment.
Product claims
When we quote a brand’s claims, they are the brand’s statements, not ours. Cosmetic results vary from person to person.
